West Lothian Council were looking for a more durable method of tackling the
increasing problem of pot hole patching. Over the years, numerous methods had
been tried, using a
variety of materials, however most had a limited life expectancy.
When we heard about Jetpatcher®, we were immediately interested and therefore we
carried out 2 trials of this system. Both trials proved extremely successful and
on the strength of these, West Lothian Council took delivery of anew Jetpatcher®
on 18th September 2001.
We have found that a Jetpatcher® repair is far quicker and more durable than any
other
method pothole patching previously employed, with the added advantage to road
safety and the efficiency of the Highways department.
This process has been developed further with the introduction of JP 200, an
enhanced binder, which we find invaluable during the winter conditions we
encounter in West
Lothian, which means, apart for severe weather conditions, our Jetpatcher® is an
all year round solution to potholes.
