Re: JETPATCHER® TRAILER MOUNTED UNIT
Gayndah Shire purchased our Jetpatcher® Trailer Unit in December 1993. We chose
the trailer mounted unit because of it's versatility. It meant we could unhook
the Jetpatcher® and still use the truck should it be necessary. We have had high
productivity and at last economical patching. Pre batched bitumen patching
material is quite expensive because of haulage.
We find by using the trailer mounted until we can carry more screening and have
less trips back to the depot for reloads. We find it's a big advantage being
able to tip and load our hopper on the trailer unit then travel with the hoist
down until the hopper is empty. The safety aspect of not having to travel with
the hoist up was a deciding factor with us. The Jetpatcher® has proved itself and
we are quite happy with it and the backup service.
