To Whom it May
Concern
This is to certify that as Bega Valley Shire Council's Enterprise Services
Manager I have, over the past twelve (12) months, had extensive business
dealings with Jetpatcher Australia Pty Ltd of Indooroopilly; Queensland and in
particular Company Director, Jim Dunlop and technical support staff Richard
Jackson and Wayne Blanch.
In mid 1994 Council undertook field trials of a jet patcher bitumen patching
unit to obtain comparisons between conventional 'cold-mix' patching and blower
type aggregate emulsion patching. Field results were excellent using the blower
type patching unit and in October Council called tenders for the supply and
delivery of a truck mounted bitumen patching unit. Two tenders were received;
one from Jetpatcher Australia and the second from Paveline Industries. Further
field evaluations of both units were carried out, and as a result the tender was
awarded to Jetpatcher Australia.
In late February 1995 Council in conjunction with Jetpatcher Australia
commissioned the new
6 cu. m unit. Fitting was undertaken in Council's Bega workshop and was
completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
As indicated earlier I have, from the initial enquiry stage through to the
present day, had extensive dealings with Jetpatcher Australia Pty LTD, I have
found them most co-operative and helpful to such an extent that during tender
evaluation they provided information on existing clients who had experienced
problems with Jetpatcher® equipment. This honesty and openess provided a solid
platform on which to base decisions, it also provided the necessary 'comfort
factor' desirable in today's competitive market.
All up I have found Jetpatcher Australia Pty LTD a most professional
organisation dedicated to customer service, support and product development.
These qualities are obviously recognised by others, as their client base
continues to expand.
I would be more than happy to confirm the contents of this reference or expand
on it if requested.
